Project: Powerhouse Theatre – Responsive Marketing
Powerhouse Theatre wanted to increase season ticket sales and raise its profile in the community. Wayside designed a cohesive marketing approach that increased season ticket holders by 40 per cent in the first season and drove an increase in sell-out performances. Wayside created a cohesive print and digital marketing strategy that combined newspaper advertisements, playbill mailers, digital ads, social media and contesting with a single call to action: “Go online to enter for a chance to win.” Customers visited dedicated landing pages with a chance to win tickets to a specific show, and Wayside was able to create a fully opted-in and relevant database for future marketing efforts. Survey pages also gathered valuable insight for Powerhouse about customer preferences on a range of topics, including performance times, theatre preferences and even food and beverage services.
